We need bug reports to be sent to us, if you have any problems with the software crashing or doing weird or unexpected stuff, let us know, telling us what you were trying to do, what you had just done, if you can make it crash by doing the same thing again, etc. the more bug reports and information we can get the more problems we can fix, we have eliminated every bug that we can find, it has been tested on a iMac 233 (OS9.2.2), Beige G3 running a G4 400 (OSX.2.6), a G4 (OS9) and a G4 sawtooth running at 1.2 GHz (OSX 10.3.7. OSX 10.4.3).
Post your Bug Reports on The DefBot Forum
On the PC side I had an early version of The DefBot running on a HP VectraVL 200MHz (Windows 95), this was before we made major changes to the bot, at the moment it is not usable on a PC, we need to do a great deal of work before we can convert the bot for use on PC's, there are some things which are Mac specific which we need to remove first, I don't think that we will get the time to do that until we have the Mac version of the bot as a final release.

This demo version has a restriction, it will expire and we have made it so the automatic update check can not be turned off, this is to ensure that the demo version does not become left on the net, we want people to have the latest version of The DefBot, we will update the demo version as bug reports come in, and we will make sure that there is a new version available before a beta version expires.
Currently The DefBot is DemoWare, that is right, you get to try it out before you buy !
Although, we do request donations to help us to make it more worth while, it takes a great deal of time and effort to write software, so if you use our bot and think it is good, please (pretty please?) send us something for it, you can do that through PayPal by sending a payment to us through the option in the Web Menu.
Donations will help us to continue development of The DefBot, we may also write more software, how about a better server ??
